LAKE ELSINORE (CNS) - Fire tore through an auto repair shop in Lake Elsinore Saturday morning and spread to a nearby two-story apartment complex before firefighters were able to extinguish the flames.Crews responded to the 200 block of Main Street at 4:30 a.m. and found the garage fully involved with fire, according to Cal Fire Riverside.The fire spread from the garage into the attic of a two-story apartment building, Cal Fire said.A total of 50 firefighters extinguished the fire in the auto repair shop and contained the fire in the attic and a knock down was declared at 5:13 a.m.It was unclear whether anyone in the apartment complex was displaced.No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
