Artist Jerry Pennington works on a plein air painting in watercolor for the Fall Membership Show of Fallbrook Art Association, running now through Sunday, November 25. Located at the Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society building, 123 West Alvarado, the show is open daily10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – except Thanksgiving Day – and ends Sunday at 3 p.m.

Santa Rosa Plateau Art Show draws a crowd

The sculpture of an owl by John Clark is surrounded by paintings of animals native to the Santa Rosa Plateau. All of the art is for sale, the proceeds earmarked to fund the hosting of third-graders to the reserve.
The “Turkey Vulture” photo by Thomas Kelsey and the painting “Monolith” by Henry Lozano, Jr. are examples of the art available at Santa Rosa Plateau during a current exhibit.
