ANZA Heavenly Horse Haven (HHH) is a not-for-profit horse and animal rescue in the Anza Valley. The brain child of founder Gina Perrin is the presentation of adoptable horses every year incorporating several musical skits with a common theme throughout. The end result is an equestrian musical play that is very entertaining. According to Gina, This years theme is based off of the wildly popular television series, The Big Bang Theory. The characters of the show, who are portrayed by the ranchs volunteers, will be exploring the history of horses during this years presentation of adoptable horses. Watch them go from the wild west to the roaring 20s, from the disco era to modern times, learning about the Pony Express, horse racing, how the economy has affected horses, and modern horsemanship all while trying to solve the mystery of why people would abuse these wonderful animals. Denise Nelson of Danns Sporthorses will perform a musical freestyle dressage and Sheryl Lynde, a John and Josh Lyons Certified Foundation trainer, will play a part, too.Through practicing the skits, the adoptable HHH horses riding skills are improved as well as the many young riders who volunteer their time just to be with the horses. The kids want to show all who come what an adoptable horse from HHH can do. The event will take place on Saturday, June 22, from 12 to 5 p.m. at the HHH ranch in at 58290 Marlis/Barnfather inAnza. There will be food, fun, raffles, a live band, and of course, adoptable horses. Donations feed these animals and any and all donations are welcomeTo learn more or for directions go to www.heavenlyhorsehaven.org or call Gina at (951) 551-3561.
