Awarding winning photographer offers camera and Smartphone workshops

TEMECULA – Award winning photographer and Dorland Mountain Arts Colony associate Andrew Roe will offer two photography workshops at the arts colony during the month of April.

The first workshop “Photography 101” will be Sunday, April 15, from 4-6 p.m. in the Dorland Community Arts Studio. Roe will offer advice on stopping blurry and out of focus photos, explain on what all the buttons on a camera mean, taking photos of children and sporting events. He says students can “move out of the auto zone and impress friends and family with newfound skills.”

The second workshop “Smartphone Photography” will be Sunday, April 29, from 4-6 p.m. in the Community Arts Studio. Roe will show how to use your Smartphone camera like a pro. He suggests a Smartphone may take better photos than a real camera. He will show how to make subjects ‘pop out’ in the photos and how to take out the blurriness and the many apps available to make Smartphone photos even better.

The workshop costs are $50 for each class or $40 each class for Dorland Associate Artist members.
