Anza Valley Municipal Advisory Council Agenda for May 9

Anza Valley Municipal Advisory Council (AVMAC) will be holding a meeting to explore Cannabis Emergency Regulation Committee (CERC) findings on May 9, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Anza Community Hall. This meeting will include a power point that will present the committees finding of this important issue.

The Agenda will be as follows:

Anza Valley Municipal Advisory Council Special Meeting Agenda

I. Call to Order- Robert Giffin, President

II. Flag Salute

III. Power point presentation of Cannabis Emergency Regulation Committee (CERC) findings & recommendations for the Anza Valley Municipal Advisory Council to present to Supervisors.

A. Public question and answer of committee members; and public comment as to findings, 3 minute time limit, EACH comment will be allowed 1 additional 3 minutes from another attendee present that gives up their time with filled out request to speak.

B. Anza Valley Municipal Advisory Council (AVMAC) report discussion, Acceptance of report as written or changes to the report with AVMAC approval, Vote to forward CERC Report to the Board of Supervisors.

IV. AVMAC FORMAL Request of Supervisor Chuck Washington and the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS to declare the AVMAC sphere of influence (territory) as an area in need of a state of emergency with regard to cannabis cultivation either by ordinance, enforcement or some form of oversight to resolve existing and future impacts within our community.
