City of Menifee reminds residents of consolidated primary election

Last updated 5/17/2018 at 8:58am

MENIFEE – Approximately 964,000 voter information guides were sent out to Riverside County voters April 26 for the consolidated primary election, June 5. Material in the voter information guide will help voters make informed choices.

The Menifee city clerk and elections official recommended that voters review the materials before casting an official ballot, and if voters do not receive an information guide in the mail, it is available online at or by calling the registrar’s office at (951) 486-7200 or (800) 773-8683 to request a mailed copy.

If a registered voter would like to “drop off” their vote-by-mail ballot early, up until the Election Day, they may do so at the Menifee City Hall or the Registrar of Voters. Menifee City Hall is located at 29714 Haun Road, in Menifee and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ballots must be received at the Registrar of Voters office or any Riverside County polling place by 8 p.m. Election Day or be postmarked on or before Election Day and received no later than three days after Election Day to be counted.

Registered voters in all areas of the county are eligible to cast votes in this election. For questions about voting eligibility, contact the registrar’s office at (951) 486-7200. Voter polling-place locations are printed on the back cover of the information guide, which includes an application to request a vote-by-mail ballot. A Spanish-language version of the guide will be available at and a copy can be mailed upon request. To register, update an address or change political party preference, residents must complete a voter registration application and submit it by May 21. Register online at or request a paper application by calling (951) 486-7200.

The Menifee City Clerk’s office reminds residents that the June 5 election is a countywide election, and that the city does not endorse or support any candidate. The City Seal shall also not be used on any graphics or materials produced by any candidate, business or others as it is the registered seal of the city for official city business.

For questions or for more information regarding the rules of conduct in an election, contact City Clerk Sarah Manwaring at (951) 672-6777 or [email protected]
