Art League announces spring show winners

Issue 26, Volume 11.


Lisa Moffimi-MicDieu won Best of Show at the Temecula Valley Art League spring show Saturday, May 26. Held at Sam Hicks Monument Park, other awards were: first, Ina Runos; second, Ingrid Wright; and third, Dewayne Neufeld. Honorable mentions were awarded to Kathy Stradley, Craig Lewis, Twilla Leonard, Ina Rames, Sue Rogers and Laurel Jeninga.

The league recently elected its 2007-08 officers. Installations of officers and dinner were June 19 at the Mary Phillips Senior Center. The new officers are Mary Davis, acting president; Myrna Boggs, first vice-president; Melody Brunsting, second vice-president; Laurel Jeninga, secretary; Sue Rogers, Advertisement

treasurer; Ingrid Wright, parliamentarian; and Twilla Leonard, Member at Large.

Committee chairpersons are: galleries, Craig Lewis; publicity, Colleen Baker-Huber; Exhibits, Marlys Barskey; Web site, Rodney Johnson; Membership, Terry Kvitky; Membership (Tickets), Ina Ramos; Sunshine, Jean Herrick; Refreshments, Kathy Stradle; Name Tags, Luanne Gattegno; and Historian/Event Photographer, Chris Devin.

New members are invited with the first meeting of the 2007-08 year, September 18. Membership dues run from September to September. The League is dark July through August to give members an opportunity to invest in new ideas and inspiration. Call Mary Davis at (951) 677-9633 for more information.
