Anna Barbara Petersen

Anna Barbara Petersen passed away October 8 at Sun City Convalescent Center.

Born to Herman and Barbara Henning on January 3, 1913, in Jackson Heights, Queens County, NY, Anna was married to Capt. John T. Petersen on August 4, 1935, in New York City. Her husband of 67 years predeceased her on October 10, 2002.

Anna is survived by son and daughter-in-law John and Candy Petersen; daughter Susan Lewis; grandchildren and step-grandchildren Kimberly White (Thomas), John S. Petersen, Keith Lewis and Christian Lewis (Amy), Craig Steele (Holly) and Christopher Steele (Richele); and great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren Jacob White, Marissa Lewis and Kevin and Paige Steele.

A memorial service will be held on October 14 at Zion Lutheran Church at 1405 East Fallbrook Street in Fallbrook. Interment will be private.

Evans Brown Mortuary handled the arrangements.
