Members of the public were able to hike a two-and-a-half-mile trail that offers scenic views of the Santa Margarita River. By following the trail, hikers can connect to existing paths on Fallbrook Public Utility District land. In addition, the first official equestrian staging area was opened in Fallbrook. "The preserve opening marks another great achievement toward the future North County Multiple Advertisement The park is open seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. until 30 minutes before sunset. The preserve is closed during heavy rain to protect the public and natural resources. Fishing in the river is not permitted. The horse in the Trailer taken by Paul reminds me of a horse I once had in San Luis Obispo that I named "Wild Fire". I love horses and love songs about the range. My father had a ranch home next to the ocean in San Luis Obispo that he purchased after leaving Manzinar in the early 1940's. |
