Santa Rosa Plateau training volunteers

Friday, October 12th, 2007
Issue 41, Volume 11.

The Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve will be hosting an annual training course for people interested in learning and sharing the plateau’s unique history and opportunities beginning Oct. 13 at 9:30 a.m.

All sessions will be held at the reserve’s Visitor Center at 39400 Clinton Keith Road in Murrieta.

Training sessions are designed to educate attendees in the natural and cultural resources of the plateau and teach the professional techniques used to share this information with visitors.

Completion of a majority of this 10-week program will prepare volunteers to aid in a number of duties, including the presentation of programs for visiting school groups, staffing of the reserve’s Visitor Center and trail patrol.

For a course schedule and more information, call (951) 677-6951, ext. 222, or e-mail rhicks@co.riverside.ca.us.
