Stanley (Stan) Palmer Davis, born October 22, 1923, in Takoma Park, MD, passed away December 16, 2007, at Franciscan Hospice House in University Place, WA.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 30 years, Helen. He had two sons, Craig Davis of Edmonds, WA, and Kevin Davis of Salem, OR; two stepsons, Garry McCray of Sacramento, CA, and Ken McCray of Gig Harbor, WA; a stepdaughter, Candice McCray of Temecula, CA; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a loving sister, Shelly Suddith of Gaithersburg, MD; and many nieces and nephews.

Stan served in the Naval Air Force in WWII. He worked for NBC Television as a cameraman and technical supervisor in Washington, DC, for many years and then for King TV in Seattle, WA. He retired in 1977, moved to Northern California and became a Real Estate Broker.

For the last 20 years he lived in Fallbrook, CA. He was a very active member within the Fallbrook Community Baptist Church. He moved back to Washington in January 2006.

Stan made friends with everyone he met. He was a loving husband and loved all his family. His family loved him dearly and will miss him greatly.
