Audrey F. McClintock

Audrey F. McClintock passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 1, 2008, at Methodist Hospital in Arcadia.

She was born July 21, 1916, in San Bernardino to Herbert M. Wall (Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) and Hattie Wood (Wichita, KS) and grew up in Los Angeles.

Audrey was preceded by her loving husband, Augustus "Gus" E. McClintock, who passed away in 2002. Gus was born in the old Roripaugh Ranch in Temecula.

Audrey graduated from Pomona College in 1938 and in May attended her 70th college reunion.

After her sons finished high school, Audrey became a grammar school teacher. She retired from the Los Angeles School District in 1981.

She is survived by her sons Stephen W. McClintock and Richard W. McClintock and her adoring grandchildren Derek B., Kelli B (Djulus), Drew W. McClintock and Brian P. Larson.

Audrey was laid to rest on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Temecula Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Methodist Hospital in her name.
