Ricky Lee Gresham (Rick)

Friday, October 31st, 2008
Issue 44, Volume 12.

Ricky Lee Gresham (Rick), 49, passed away at his home in Temecula on Oct. 18. Rick courageously battled cancer; he had a great attitude and good sense of humor even to the end of his life.

Rick was born on Nov. 1, 1958, to Melvin (Mel) and Sharon Gresham. He was raised in Lakewood, CA, and graduated from Paramount High School in 1977.

He worked his entire life in construction and specialized in concrete cutting and coring. His interests and hobbies were sports, sports memorabilia and antiques – cars, and he had some nice cars.

He loved plants and palms and had a green thumb and a knack for growing them beautifully. Rick had a great sense of humor and a lot of great friends.

Rick is survived by his wife of 26 years, Bonnie Gresham. Rick and Bonnie had two wonderful children, Ashley and Trevor Gresham. Rick is also survived by parents Mel and Sharon Gresham, Fallbrook; sister Kelly; and many other loved ones: aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He will be missed.

Although Rick went to be with the Lord, he will be in our hearts forever.

In high school I remember Rick's 1969 Z/28. I had a 1968 R/S and he would tell me how I "NEED" to have the Z/28 to be cool!

I even remember him having white carpet (of all things) in his car.

He lived on Pimenta Ave. I would deliver the Press Telegram news paper to his house.

That's crappy he's gone...............just sucks.

God bless his family.
