Bailey signs with Stanford

Friday, February 20th, 2009
Issue 08, Volume 13.

Outstanding student-athlete Darien Bailey of Temecula Prep has signed a National Letter of Intent with Stanford University.

While Bailey started with jumps as freshmen, he found his passion in the decathlon.

On the track he seamlessly transitions from single to multi events; off the track he is involved in associated student body, academic decathlons, community service and the National Honor Society.

Bailey has maintained a 4.1-plus grade point average throughout high school and says he looks forward to honing his skills both academically and athletically at Stanford University.
