Issue 22, Volume 9.

The Bonsall Rotary Club will host its 14th annual Wine, Brews & Blues Festival on Saturday, May 30, at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido from 4 to 10 p.m.

Originally centered on wine tasting, the event has morphed over the years to become one of the premier blues festivals in San Diego County. There will be live blues bands on two stages, including Aunt Kizzy’z Boyz, the Bill Magee Band, the Restless Blues Band and Sexy Blues Band.

More than 40 wineries and microbreweries will host tasting booths. Attendees will enjoy dishes, hors d’oeuvres, desserts and coffee drinks prepared by local restaurants and caterers.

There will be a huge silent auction of a broad array of items including trips, golf packages and fine art.

Proceeds from the event are used to support numerous local and international charities, including REINS and Boys & Girls Club.

Guests must be 21 years or older to attend. Attendance is limited.

For cost or to make reservations, call (800) 249-2024 or visit www.bonsallrotary.com.
