MENIFEE - Three of four men suspected of attacking a man who owed one of them money -- breaking his jaw and some facial bones -- were arrested today but the fourth suspect remained at large, a sheriff's sergeant said.

Homeland residents Travis Wayne Steele, 24, Christopher Perry Agler, 23 and Elden Colter Downes, 21 were booked into the county jail on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a felony, strong-armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm.

They are scheduled to be arraigned Friday.

The four suspects lured the victim to the area of Briggs Street and Mapes Avenue, in the Romoland area of Menifee, with the promise of a party in the early morning hours of May 18, sheriff's Sgt. Scott Forbes said.

When the victim arrived, he learned there was no party and that he was brought there in an attempt to collect a debt, Forbes said.

One suspect hit the victim across his jaw with a glass bottle, knocking him down, then they all punched and kicked him in the head and body, Forbes said.

The victim suffered nerve damage to his face, Forbes said.

The suspects took more than $300 from the victim and fled.

Sheriff's investigators followed up leads and today found three of the men but were still trying to identify the fourth, Forbes said.

Anyone with information on the case was asked to call investigators at (951) 210-1000.

2. Old School says :

Legal way- take it to small claims court.

Old School - go toa vacant piece of land (i.e. park, field) and fight 1 on 1 with NO interference.

New way - You and as many of your frineds you can get attack the victim hitting and kicking them until they stop moving or die.

I say lets treat these "new school" ways with some old school law, wild west type. Lock them all up for the better part of their livesd and make an example out of them. They will find out just how tuff they are not in prison.
