Saturday, June 6th, 2009. Issue 23, Volume 9. LA QUINTA - Police sought the public's help today in locating a 45-year-old woman whose car was found burned and abandoned in Thermal last week. Gloria Estela Garza of La Quinta was last seen by family members on May 26, said La Quinta police Sgt. Tony Baur. Her abandoned, burned-out vehicle was found May 30 in the area of Avenue 66 and Martinez Road in Thermal, and her disappearance is considered suspicious, Baur said. Garza is Latina, 5 feet 4, 160 pounds and has brown hair, according to police. Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call La Quinta police at (760) 863-8990.
