The High Country Garden Club (HCGC) will be holding its regularly scheduled meeting on July 11 (second Saturday of the month) at 10:30 a.m.

They will meet at Lizzy Anne’s Garden Center at the corner of Hwy 371 and Contreras. Lizzy Anne’s will give a 10-percent discount to HCGC members that day.

Former wholesale nursery owner Annika Knoppel will explain how to select robust, quality plant material in "Good Plant, Bad Plant."

After the meeting, HCGC Adopt-A-Highway volunteers will perform litter removal along Hwy 371.
