PALOMAR MOUNTAIN- A member of a Japanese film crew is recovering today from heat exhaustion after a helicopter plucked him off Palomar Mountain, a sheriff's corporal said. The crew member fell ill around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday while filming local narcotics officers harvesting marijuana found growing on the mountain, according to San Diego County sheriff's Cpl. Tony Webber. A sheriff's helicopter rescued the crew member and transported him to Fallbrook Hospital, Webber said. No details about the individual have been released.
