Translate this page Sunday, December 20th, 2009. Issue 51, Volume 13. MENIFEE - A mobile home caught fire today and nearly burned to the ground before fighters could put out the blaze. The fire was reported shortly before 1 p.m. today at 27931 Adams Ave. in the Romoland community near Menifee, according to Riverside County Fire Capt. Fernando Herrera. Firefighters arrived to find a double-wide mobile home burning. They quickly knocked out the fire and prevented it from spreading to nearby properties, Herrera said. All residents were able to escape the fire, and no one was injured, Herrera said. Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
