Jesus Vargas, 23, was arrested Monday on suspicion of one count of sexual battery and four counts of indecent exposure, three of which stemmed from incidents dating back to November.

Police began their investigation Dec. 14 when they were called to a salon on the 16300 block of Perris Blvd. in Moreno Valley, according toRiverside County sheriff's Sgt. David Knudson.

An employee reported a man came in to ask about services at the salon and then exposed himself to her and ran away, Knudson said.

Police later found out that three other women in the same neighborhood had similar encounters during the month of November, and one woman reported the suspect physically grabbed her, Knudson said.

Vargas was cited on the misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure and sexual battery and released pending a court appearance, according to Moreno Valley Police Sgt. Jaime Briones.
