MENIFEE - Two men are behind bars today for stealing industrial wire from Southern California Edison and Verizon facilities, sheriffs said.

Sheriff's deputies found the men, identified as Brien Richard Dossiere, 45, of Mead Valley, and Ricky Joe Pulu Jr., 23, of Mead Valley, hiding on the grounds of a Southern California Edison building on the 26100 block of Menifee Road in Menifee. The deputies were checking a tripped burglar alarm late Tuesday just before midnight, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt Scott Forbes.

pried open a storage bin, and removed a large quantity of heavy wire, Forbes said.

The two men were arrested Wednesday when detectives found burglary tools and property stolen from a Verizon facility, and from four previous burglaries at the same Menifee SCE building in Menifee, inside their home on Perry Street in Mead Valley.

They were arrested and booked on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglary tools and possession of stolen property. Dossiere was being held at Robert Presley Dentention Center and Pulu was being held at Southwest Detention Facility, jailers said.
