FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Art Association (FAA) has expanded its Art Assist Program this year to include both fifth and sixth grade students at the Mary Fay Elementary School in Camp Pendleton. The students receive art instruction from volunteer artists who are members of the FAA. The volunteer artists work along with the teachers to promote and inspire creativity and an appreciation of art in the students.

Sandra Wilks and Don Hambric, who together chair the Art Assist Program, and Diane Jansen, an Art Assist volunteer, collected art related gifts from the FAA members to be given to the students. The gifts were received at the annual FAA holiday party and will be distributed to the students by their former principal, Lynn Gilstrap.
