Two men walk out of Best Buy with 18 laptop computers

MURRIETA - Murrieta police today asked for the public's today in finding two men who walked out of a Best Buy store with 18 laptop computers worth about $17,000.

The theft occurred about 8 p.m. Monday at a store in the 25000 block of Madison Avenue, according to Murrieta police Sgt. Sandra O'Donnell.

The thieves fled through a fire exit, O'Donnell said.

One suspect was described as white, about 30 years old and 5 feet 10 inches tall, with short brown hair. He wore a tan, long-sleeved shirt and jeans.

The other thief was white or Latino, roughly the same age and about 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a bald head. He wore a brown hooded sweatshirt and jeans, police said.

Anyone with more information was asked to call police at (951) 304-2677.

Wow, this happend during the store being opened. Inside job if they got 18 laptops. The store should install a 15 second delay device on all exit doors similar to other retailers that have had grab & runs. Watch for the great sales on e-bay or craigs list.
