NORCO - A woman who robbed a Norco bank remained at large today.

The holdup occurred around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Citibank branch at 2900 Hamner Ave., according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

The suspect slipped a note to a teller demanding money, and the bank employee complied, handing over several hundred dollars, authorities said. No weapon was seen.

The suspect quickly exited the bank, going south on Hamner. Patrol units responded and canvassed the Advertisement

immediate area, along with a sheriff's department air unit, but there was no trace of the woman.

She was described as white, fair-haired and in her mid-30s, 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-5 and about 130 pounds. She was wearing sunglasses, a white baseball cap with stars on the front, white gloves, a black jacket with white cuffs and blue jeans, sheriff's investigators said.

Anyone with information about her identity or whereabouts was urged to contact the sheriff's Norco station at (951) 270-5673.

Here we go again..those darn baseball caps! If they would just make the folks remove the glasses and the caps before approaching the teller, they wouldn't have robberies...!Such a no brainer simple fix!

White hat & white gloves and a black jacket, they should have hit the button when she walked in for dressing like that.
