It seemed clear to my husband and me that we were destined to join our creative talents. Patrick is a multi-dimensional, multi-talented creative director and I am a songwriter, motivational speaker, and author. Together, we are Sterling Heart, our company dedicated to taking care of others.

As a "musical motivational speaker," I use my songs and my heart to deliver messages of healing, self-care, and support. I speak on a number of topics that are appropriate for all kinds of people in all walks of life. My three CDs of uplifting, healing songs are popular all over the world, and my stories of using music for healing are appreciated across the Internet.

[ Murrieta Volkswagen ] his photography with lines from my songs. These breathtaking images coupled with soothing and uplifting messages are powerful, beautiful, and useful. They are finding new applications in healthcare facilities and doctors’ offices, as well as in homes and offices.

In addition, at the request of a hospital administrator and as a result of our work with hospice, we created and published Heart Wide Open – Self-Care for Caregivers, our mini-book to help soothe compassion fatigue. We made it small enough to fit in a pocket and powerful enough to be called a lifesaver, a touchstone, and nourishment on the healing journey for "anyone who has ever cared for anyone else."
