Two men found the body while waiting for their stalled vehicle to be towed near Highway 243 and Jameson Drive about 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The clothed remains were located in a wooded area about 50 yards from the road next to a small "transient-type encampment," sheriff's Sgt. Wallace Clear said. Authorities couldn't determine the gender of the dead person at the scene, Clear said. "Investigators are examining items found in the encampment that may assist with identifying the subject. No signs of foul play were evident at the scene," the sergeant said. Anyone with information was asked to call investigators at (951) 791-3400. 0 comments Be the first to share your opinion on this article! |
