Raymundo Ramirez was identified by Riverside County sheriff's investigators as the suspected perpetrator of a hold-up at a Bank of America branch on Cherry Hills Road in Menifee on Sept. 27. Further investigation revealed Ramirez was also a suspect in robberies at banks in Hemet, San Jacinto, Murrieta and Yucaipa between April and October, according to sheriff's Sgt. Glenn Williams. An arrest warrant was issued for Ramirez last month. On Sunday night, the suspect was Advertisement Federal agents detained him until deputies arrived to take him into custody. Ramirez was booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of robbery. He's being held in lieu of $60,000 bail. In the Sept. 27 robbery, Ramirez allegedly presented a note to a teller demanding cash and fled the location in a pickup truck after receiving an undisclosed amount of currency, according to sheriff's officials.
