DAR meetings are open to any woman interested in tracing her heritage to ancestors of the American Revolution. The Luiseno Chapter Registrar will provide guidance and assistance to anyone wishing to apply for membership. The Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890. Currently, there are approximately 165,000 members in the 3,000 chapters throughout the United States and 11 foreign countries. Any Advertisement A patriot is described as someone who may have fought in the war, given arms, funds, medical or other supplies, taken the Oath of Allegiance, or in any way contributed to the cause. Luiseno Chapter meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of the month from September through May. Meetings begin at 11:30 a.m. This month’s meeting will be held at The Colony, 40710 Avenida Florita, in the Clubhouse.
