WILDOMAR - A gunman threatened to shoot a Wildomar homeowner today when she confronted the suspect about the power saw he had grabbed at a garage sale, a sheriff's deputy said.

No one was hurt during the armed robbery, which was phoned in at 12:16 p.m. The robbery happened at a home in the 3200 block of Crescent Avenue, Riverside County sheriff's Deputy Joshua Morales said.

The robber was described as a blond white man in his 30s who sported a crew cut. He purportedly brandished a gun when the homeowner told him in Spanish that he needed to pay for the tool she saw him take, Morales said.

The suspect got into a small two-door sedan that was driven by another man and fled in unknown direction. Morales said the gunman wore a sleeveless grey shirt and had a tattoo on his left shoulder. The suspect sported a second tattoo on the left side of his rib cage and wore camouflage pants with military-style boots, Morales said.

Sheriff's officials encouraged anyone with information about this crime to call the sheriff's Lake Elsinore station at (951) 776-1099.
