Dominic Leon Evans, 49, of Perris could face life in prison if convicted of multiple counts of lewd acts on a minor, sexual penetration with a foreign object, sodomy on a child under 16 years old and possession of child pornography. Evans is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail at Advertisement According to the sheriff's department, Evans was arrested after investigators executed a search warrant at his house at 820 Perris Blvd. on Nov. 13. The basis for the warrant was not disclosed. Sheriff's officials said Evans volunteered as an assistant boys' and girls' basketball coach at Perris High School. It wasn't immediately known if the alleged victims were students.
