Norman Andrew Park, 54, is suspected in several combative encounters with Department of Code Enforcement officers, who have cited him for apparent habitability issues connected with his single-story residence at 315 N. Poe St., according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. Park got into a confrontation with officials at City Hall on Monday morning over the ongoing abatement dispute, leading to alleged threats from Advertisement Around 10:30 a.m. today, deputies accompanied code enforcement officers to the property for an inspection and arrested Park for the earlier incident, according to Nava. Park allegedly confronted officials with a weapon on Sept. 10 when they attempted to inspect his property, which led to criminal charges, Nava said. Park was booked into the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta today on suspicion of threatening a public official, resisting arrest and brandishing a weapon.
