According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, at about 2:30 a.m., Medina apparently lost control of his 1996 Acura sedan, which traveled onto the shoulder of the road and struck several trash cans before colliding with a wall. Medina -- who was not wearing a seat belt -- was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled several times, ending up in the backyard of a residence, sheriff's officials said.
