Mater Dei wins JV Winter Classic

Mater Dei of Santa Ana won the Championship title game of the Great Oak JV Winter Classic by beating Redlands East Valley 68-58. The tournament is one of the largest JV tournaments in the area attracting 14 teams this year.

Vista Murrieta took third place by beating Elsinore 63-59. Murrieta Mesa placed fifth with a win over West Valley, 60-39. Temescal Canyon beat San Marcos 57-42 for the seventh place spot. Escondido dominated Paloma Valley 69-27 for the ninth place win. Great Oak took eleventh with a 68-26 win over San Jacinto. Great Oak #2 beat Fallbrook 55-47 for thirteenth place. The following is a list of all the scores.

Great Oak #2 – 55 (13th place)
