Fire Reported in Wildomar

WILDOMAR - A fire charred two acres of brush in Wildomar, a spokeswoman said today.

No injuries were reported during the blaze, which was called in at 12:43 p.m. It was near Palomar Street and Clinton Keith Road, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.

Firefighters contained the blaze about 15 minutes after it was reported. No cause was immediately known.

Residents were urged to be mindful about the year-round threat wild fires pose in Riverside County, Hagemann said.

Hagemann said anyone wanting information to safeguard their homes can log on to www.readyforwildfire.org.
