Civitan to host meeting, Jan. 28

TEMECULA – The Temecula Valley Civitan will hold its next general meeting on Monday, Jan. 28, at Carrows Restaurant, 24640 Madison Avenue in Murrieta. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

Ann Reese from the Temecula Valley Assistance League will give a presentation on Operation School Bell, Chapters for Children, and some of their other community outreach programs.

Civitan is a worldwide community organization founded in 1917. Since the 1930s, Civitan’s major focus has been toward helping people with developmental disabilities, however, local clubs are involved in a variety of community service projects.
