Issue 03, Volume 17.

NORCO - A six-member tagging crew scrawled graffiti early today on an Interstate 15 bridge in Norco and tried photographing their handiwork when sheriff's deputies arrived to arrest them, a Riverside County sheriff's spokesman said.

Deputies received a call about 3:30 a.m. about the taggers being seen defacing the freeway overpass at Third Street. The crew members were about to photograph "their newly applied graffiti on the bridge" in admiration when deputies arrived, according to sheriff's Sgt. Bryan Vig.

All six suspects were arrested for suspicion of vandalism and conspiracy.

Taken into custody were 19-year-olds Michael Aguilar, Mario Aguilar, Anthony Paniagua, Carlos Rodriguez and Marco Cuenca, all of Riverside; and 18- year-old Eleazar Trejo, of Corona.

Ok, now put them in orange jumpsuits and let them all clean it off with little wire brushes. Should take a few days, maybe even a month to complete. That'll keep them too busy to tag elsewhere and serve as a deterrent to not want to do it again. We need to teach young children to respect others property even more than thier own. A little emotional distress and some scraped knuckes is a cheap way to accomplish that.

Make them wear pink jumpsuits when they do the clean-up. That's right, make them clean-up their mess. If you can tie them to the rash of graffiti that has hit Magnolia Ave. make them clean that too.
