Two-alarm fire takes place in commercial building in Perris

PERRIS (Wire Service) - A two-alarm fire in a one-story commercial building in Perris is under investigation today.

No injuries were reported in the blaze, which was reported at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 2770 Perris Blvd., said Melody Hendrickson of the Riverside County Fire Department.

A total of 35 firefighters responded and had the flames knocked down by 10:11 p.m., Hendrickson said.

Flames and smoke were pouring through the building's roof when crews arrived on scene, Hendrickson said.
