Sheriff's Dept. searching for young man who sexually assaulted jogger; sketch of suspect releasedWednesday, January 23rd, 2013 Issue 04, Volume 17.
The woman was jogging around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, near the intersection of Honors Drive and Southern Hills Drive when the suspect rode up to her on a bicycle, assaulted her, and fled the area, said Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Curt Harris. The victim ran for help and called 911, Harris said. The suspect is described as a young adult or teenager, 5-feet 8-inches tall, with a thin build and medium-length, dark unkempt hair. He was wearing dark shorts, a blue shirt and was riding a black BMX-style bicycle.
