The woman was walking in the 400 block of Shaver Street around 9 a.m. Tuesday when the attacker "assaulted the victim from behind," said sheriff's Sgt. David Haar. The woman struck the man, prompting him to run off, he said. The suspect is described as Hispanic, between 18 and 21 years old, around 5 feet 4 inches, with a thin build. He was wearing a black hoodie with silver sleeves, a red baseball cap, blue jeans and black sneakers.
