FALLBROOK – It doesn’t matter if a band plays at parties, dances, or just in a garage; the March 16 Battle of the Bands at the Fallbrook Community Center is open to all bands with members between 13 and 19 years of age. If selected, each band will set up, perform and battle it out for a $200 first place cash award, a $100 second place cash award, trophies, and other donated prizes and bragging rights. This year’s Battle of the Bands will also accept video shorts and original art work from 13- to 19-year-olds.

The top bands will be invited to perform in front of an audience and be rated by a panel of judges on Saturday, March 16. The competition will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Admission for spectators is $5/person; snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.
