Non-injury fire in Temecula damages commercial building

TEMECULA - A noninjury fire that damaged a one-story commercial building in Temecula was under investigation today, authorities said.

The fire in the 27700 block of Commerce Center Drive was reported at 10:08 p.m. Tuesday and declared under control at 10:41 p.m., said Jody Hagemann of the Riverside County Fire Department.

Smoke and flames were visible through the roof of the building when the first of 26 firefighters who responded to the blaze arrived at the scene, Hagemann said.
