Art show at the Gallery on Main to take place on Feb. 22-23

On Friday, Feb. 22, and Saturday, Feb. 23, the Gallery on Main Street in Old Town Temecula will be hosting an art show. From 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday and from 3 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, viewers will be able to see artwork and meet the artists. Chai, a photographer, Alexandria LaNier, also a photographer, and Paul Jay Price, a painter/sculptor, will be showcasing their work.

Chai was a photojournalist for the Perris Progress Newspaper before he became a full-time photographer. He first worked with a 35 mm black and white film camera and now shoots both black and white and full color. His photography shop, the Gallery on Main, showcases his landscape shots. Chai also shoots models, environmental portraits, and weddings. His photography may be seen on his website www.photographybychai.com.

Alexandria LaNier began her career as a self-taught Advertisement

clothing designer. Eventually, LaNier, a wife and mother, began designing fairy costumes in a collection she calls Fairy Court. At the Comic-Con International Masquerade, she won Best in Show for her costume designs. Now a photographer and costume designer, LaNier has created a collection of around 40 different costumes. Paul J Price is a painter and sculptor who resides in Canyon Lake, California. His work involves anthropology, scholarship, and preservation of culture, a theme most notably seen in his pieces at the Pechanga Resort and Casino. He has created commercial and public works which have been displayed in Seattle World’s Fair, the Louisiana World Exposition, Parque de Diversiones in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Diversiones Moy Arcade in Guadalajara, Mexico.
