John Henry Barber of Banning could face more than 25 years in prison if convicted of two counts of attempted murder and one count of shooting at an inhabited dwelling, as well as sentence-enhancing allegations of being a repeat offender and using a firearm during a felony. The youth, whose name was not disclosed, suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a hospital, underwent surgery and has since begun recuperating.
