Wildomar Chamber of Commerce holds ribbon cutting ceremony for Assistance League

TEMECULA – Assistance League of Temecula Valley, a 501(c)(3) volunteer organization serving the families of Southwest Riverside County since 1989, is pleased to announce their new affiliation with the Wildomar Chamber of Commerce. Ribbon cutting ceremonies were held on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Assistance League Thrift Shop, 28720 Via Montezuma, Temecula. Refreshments were served and Chamber members were given a tour of the facility.

Dorcas Shaktman, Assistance League president, welcomed Chamber members and guests and accepted the Chamber plaque to be displayed in the shop to show Assistance League’s participation and contribution to chambers and communities they serve.

Assistance League is a member of the Temecula Valley, Murrieta, Menifee Valley, Lake Elsinore Valley and Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce as well as the Temecula Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau. The four school districts Assistance League serves encompass each of these cities Advertisement

in addition to the surrounding areas. 

Chamber membership allows Assistance League to have a presence in all of the areas they serve and by showing support to the local chambers it gives Assistance League an opportunity to build business relationships that prove beneficial in many ways. 

Assistance League has been nominated as the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce 2012 Charity of the Year and will host the March 7 Murrieta Chamber mixer and the July 18 Wildomar Chamber mixer at their thrift shop. In addition, several of the CEO/Presidents of the Chambers are members of the Advisory Council and provide advice, guidance, and support to fulfill the mission of Assistance League.
