Menifee car crash leaves occupant with minor injuries

MENIFEE -- A car crashed on the northbound lanes of Interstate 215 today in Menifee and left an occupant with minor injuries, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Firefighters were dispatched at 9:49 a.m. to a spot north of Newport Road.

The Riverside County Fire Department initially reported that the incident involved two vehicles with someone who suffered critical injuries.

A dispatcher with the CHP in San Diego, however, said the crash involved only one car with only minor injuries reported to an occupant.
