Issue 10, Volume 17.

LAKE ELSINORE -- An SUV driver who was not carrying any identification was seriously hurt today in a high-speed crash in Lake Elsinore.

The crash happened around 3 a.m. at the intersection of Grand Avenue and the Ortega Highway, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

The man was headed south on Grand when he apparently lost control of a 1999 GMC Jimmy, which plowed into a light pole while traveling at a "high rate of speed," sheriff's Sgt. Rick Garcia said.

He said the motorist suffered multiple injuries and was rushed to a hospital in serious condition.

Deputies could find no identification on the victim, nor in the vehicle, according to Garcia.

"The driver is ... Hispanic, possibly in his late 20s and was admitted to the hospital as a John Doe," the sergeant said.

Anyone with information is urged to call the sheriff's Lake Elsinore station at (951) 245-3300.

Just great. Another FN illegal alien we get to pay for. Our elected officials love 'em more than citizens.

Maybe his wallet went flying during the accident, along with this proof of residency/citizenship? :^) So far the coppers couldn't find it.
