Woman robbed in San Jacinto; suspect at large

SAN JACINTO - A female was shoved to the ground and robbed of cash yesterday in San Jacinto.

The robbery happened around 5:20 p.m. in the 800 block of San Jacinto Avenue, Riverside County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Rose McKinney said.

A man approached the victim from behind, pushed her to the ground and took an undisclosed amount of cash from her before fleeing on foot, McKinney said.

The female was uninjured, McKinney said.

The suspect is described as approximately 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 190 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt, tan pants and a black baseball cap.

Anyone with information about the robbery was urged to call sheriff's investigators at (951) 654-2702.
