Artists of various mediums gathered on Saturday, March 2, and Sunday, March 3, to display and share their artwork in Old Town Temecula. Hosted by Metalography, the event brought hundreds of residents, art enthusiasts, and individuals both young and old to the city’s cultural haven.

Spectators were able to experience the art of photography, sculpting, painting, ceramics, and much more. In a prior interview, company entrepreneur Melissa Forster stated, "Our vision of what role we can have in bringing more art into the community is expanding all the time. We’re really inspired by art events like the Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival in which artisans are able to explain how they create their art, and we would love to see those kind of art festivals happen here."

In pursuing that vision, Metalography has received permission from the City of Temecula to host four Temecula Art Walk events in Old Town Temecula during the next twelve months. Last weekend was the first of the series.

Thursday through Sunday at 28677 Front Street, infuses photo images using transfer paper and hybrid dyes onto specially coated aluminum sheets of high gloss white, white matte, high gloss silver, and silver matte. In result, the images produced are not only brighter, lightweight, and waterproof, but they will also last for years and years to come.

According to Forster, your great-great-grandkids will still find the images of your wedding day just as sharp and vibrant as the first day they were printed.

In addition to the photography classes that are currently held at the gallery, a designated space for artists to display their art is in the works.

"There are so many wonderful artists in this area, but getting regular venues for them to display their work continues to be a challenge, especially during the past few years," said Forster in a previous interview. "We want to change that, and strengthen the connection between art and community."
