Bandit with crossbow robs Temecula business

TEMECULA -On Friday, March 8, 2013, at 6:41 P.M., officers from the Temecula Police Department responded to the 31000 block of Temecula Parkway concerning a robbery of a business. Witnesses to the incident advised responding officers that the suspect came into the store wearing a motorcycle helmet and carrying a crossbow. The suspect brandished the crossbow at the clerk and demanded money. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the suspect fled the store.

described as an adult white or Hispanic male, approximately 6'-02" tall with a stocky build.

A search of the area was conducted with the assistance from a police helicopter and a bloodhound, but officers were unable to locate the suspect at this time.

This investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with further information regarding this crime is encouraged to contact Officer Grimm at the Temecula Police Department at 951 696 3000.

I know this must have been frightening to the business, but I have to still say it-could it have been Robin Hood?

Or perhaps Mutton Head? Maybe it was Ted Nugent. You know how he loves his crossbows. I feel bad for the store clerk. That must have been horrifically scary for them.
